Our Team
Lisbane Consultants is a dynamic and ambitious firm that combines enthusiasm with experience. The practice was founded in 2006 to assist Developers, Contractors, Architects, and Planners with the complex roads issues associated with the planning process and is lead by two directors with support staff.
The directors personally supervise each and every commission within the practice to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Douglas Black BSc (Hons) CEng MICE MCIHT MCIWEM Director
Douglas has over 40 years experience within the field of Civil Engineering ,Highways and Transportation and general civil engineering within the Northern Ireland Marketplace. He graduated from Queens University in 1972 and worked for a large Belfast based consultant where he was a partner in charge of the entire road and transport related commissions within the practice. He confounded Lisbane Consultants in 2006 and has continued to provide advice on civil engineering related issues on various projects within NI.
Tim Cousins BEng (Hons) CEng MICE MCIHT Director
Tim has over 20 years experience in dealing with civil engineering, road and transport related issues and general civil engineering within the construction industry in Northern Ireland. After graduating form the University of Ulster in 1991 he joined a Belfast based multi disciplinary consultancy where he worked as an Associate in Charge of the Road and Transport Related Projects until his departure in 2006 to co-found Lisbane Consultants.
Linda Hand Office Manager
Linda joined the Practice as Office Manager in May 2007 after working within the construction industry for over 30 years in a Belfast based practice. She ensures that the practice is run efficiently and deals with the administration and general accounting.
